I will never stop being confused over how edgar wright managed to simultaneously spoof action movies, homage action movies and make a better action movies then most directors can even dream about making. Its especially confusing that he managed to do this considering this movie is a gay romantic comedy.

I would’ve given this a 10/10 but then there was a scene with a unnecessary use of the n-slur

Yes i know this is just a copy of my The Godfather review but it applies to both films

Once again nolan almost makes a good film but his weird dedication to not including cgi aliens prevents him 😔

  • The Adventures of Tintin

    The Adventures of Tintin 2011

    ★★★ Rewatched by August 28 Mar, 2021

    I love this movie

It can be visually stunning, the writing frequently captures the tone of comics, choosing to remix multiple story’s into one movie is far more interesting then a simple adaptation and Spielberg is as always a master of pacing.

    I hate this movie

The visuals ate uncanny and cant decide on a style, the comedy is sometimes childish which contributes to the films overall tone problem, the story feels like its simultaneously too short and too long…
