Burning ★★★★½

An unconventional, slow-BURNING, subtle, and metaphorical film that illustrates class divide, the power and privileges of the rich and the contrasting lower class, love, desire, and toxic masculinity. Beautifully shot with a banger score, this has such an entrancing and hypnotic but deeply unsettling atmosphere, which with the aid of its slow pacing, masterfully builds the overwhelming sense of dread. Steven Yeun gives such an incredible performance: subtle, but equally charming and intimidating.
