I don’t know about this one - looks, smells, and feels like a Wes Anderson movie, yet something is off and I can’t quite put my finger on it. Not sure if the characters themselves aren’t as good his prior creations or the story itself is just rather bland (and the fragmented/Tarantino-esque chapterization actually hurts it imo), but this film just left me feeling a bit empty and unmoved unlike Anderson’s previous works. That said, it’s still better than most films out there, so a justifiable 3 stars.
