  on a rewatch, yeah this is still really good. internet residue and weird obscure online nonsense are some of my favourite things to investigate and this film is basically about that. so i think, personally, its sick

  i dont interpret it as a trans narrative, really. yes the director is trans but that shouldn't make it a trans story, it feels like a story completely independent from that, more about the facades of the internet if anything else.

  Princess Mononoke is EDIT: not my least favourite film of all time, like come on To Boldly Flee and Birth Of A Nation exist, dude, but it's still pretty bad and I feel like I should explain why. This film is commonly cited as the best, most beautiful, Ghibli film and I could see why.
