it was good it was good just... not my fav
no critiques on this one. only love. and a lot of tears.
say what you will about Timmy, but the emotion and life that he puts into Elio is just impeccable.
Elio’s parents are such well written and amazing characters, i cant. And his dad’s monologue i— 😭😭😭
Armie Hammer.... i didn’t like him in this the first time i watched this but i think i understand now.
Not to mention the visuals, colors, costume design, and soundtrack in this movie.
Beautifully tragic. i cry every time. everyone should watch this movie, i wish i would've seen it at an earlier time in my life
absolutely INCREDIBLE. i don’t even know where to start. all of the colors and all of the lighting and camera work in the movie were SO breathtaking. the story warmed my heart and absolutely shattered it at the same time. the attention to detail was so amazing ohhh my goodness. and the little sub-stories that tied in and manifested themselves throughout the movie (like the orchestra, the story of orpheus and eurydice, the # 28) were genius and brought me to tears. hands down one of the best movies i’ve ever seen.
it was accurate and real, i’ll give it that. the acting was good, i’ll give it that.
that being said, this is the worst movie i’ve ever seen. misogyny and the objectification and mistreatment of women isn’t entertainment. if thats the best you can come up with, its time to be critiqued as an artist. do better.
