Chris Allen’s review published on Letterboxd :
A hard film to watch, especially as a father of not only a son nearing the age of Nic, but also one who resembles Timothée!
I think the main message of the film is obvious, but it's the struggle of Steve as the father, David, that really hit me hard. We've seen the struggles of drug addicted characters before, but David's struggle in trying in every possible way to help, while also dealing with his own guilt in the matter, is what added to the helplessness felt while watching the story evolve.
The actors do a great job, and the emotional story is well told.
