Chris Allen’s review published on Letterboxd :
A fun and enjoyable film.
Malek is great as Freddie (as are the other actors). Malek carries the weight of the film, and even though we only get a superficial view of his life, I think they did a good job of what they wanted: to not tarnish his image.
We also get a superficial view of the band's success. The confidence they exude seems as if the characters in the story already know the story ahead of time.
With all that said, this is an enjoyable look at their story, culminating in a feel-good ending that also left me wanting to know more of their story.
