Chris Allen’s review published on Letterboxd:
I really wanted to like this. I had a fun time watching Truth or Dare, but I fear the same problem I had with that one, this one has it worse. The horribly weak turns it takes near the end, and the reasoning and rationale behind any of it, was really awful and such a let down.
Was this a comedy? Was this a horror film? See, normally one might say "of course a film can be both!" Well, let me tell you something: I know funny. And I know horror, too. This film only fantasized about being either one of those.
And to think, I actually bought this film (I MUST NOW LITERALLY OWN MY DECISION) and on top of that, it was the UNRATED version, that barely passed as a PG-13 film!! Shame on me.
But the final reveal was fun, I admit.
