Still great. Nothing like spending 3 hours in this beautifully detailed reconstruction of old Hollywood with turtleneck Leo.
I think what I love most about this is that our 2 main stars, absolute B-listers down on their luck, by some stroke of luck (or fate!) manage to conquer the changing times and finally earn their sense of belonging by accidentally saving Sharon and consequently embracing the new era of Hollywood. Mid life crisis stricken Rick Dalton, the self proclaimed "expert" of Hollywood realises he doesn't need to star in shitty movies, or suck up to some pedophile director to feel the warm embrace of LA, it's been a simple ring on the doorbell all along.
Then the casual fade in of "Once Upon a Time...". Wake up fuckers, back to reality.
