Reesiepie’s review published on Letterboxd:
The second viewing, and this time not only was I able to get more from the story, it hit me more emotionally than the first time. On the first watch, I was just taking in everything that was happening. This time I felt everything. I wouldn't normally think of giving an MCU film such a high star rating - I mean, it's not Rashomon or Mulholland Drive, is it? - but I feel this genuinely deserves it. Not for the spectacle (which is great, don't get me wrong) but for the way in which it cleverly, carefully and tenderly ties up all the strands into a perfect finale for a decade's work. It's actually now made Infinity War a better film in retrospect, and the ending to Endgame was exactly what I'd been hoping for. Reader, I wept.
