Larry Wright’s review published on Letterboxd:
A wonderfully compelling and multifaceted look at trauma and grief, and their effect on the fragility of innocence. Larson and Tremblay are exquisite, and thankfully the filmmaking is able to not only keep up, but provide its own strengths as well. Masterfully paced in its exploration of three different stages, it felt like I had absorbed three separate films in the span of one. Brilliant.
