• Ms. Marvel

    Ms. Marvel

What a delightful surprise of a first season.

  • Thor: Love and Thunder

    Thor: Love and Thunder

While fun, Thor: Love and Thunder is ultimately a tale of two conflicting tones. Natalie Portman's Jane Foster and Christian Bale's Gorr are easily the best parts of the movie. Some jokes land and some don't. This fourth Thor installment is not top-tier MCU but is still enjoyable enough to give a watch.

  • Jurassic World Dominion

    Jurassic World Dominion

While not a great conclusion to the Jurassic saga, seeing both casts together as well as some cool Dino action is fun enough.

  • Ms. Marvel

    Ms. Marvel

Had a chance to watch Ms. Marvel Ep 1-2 for FandomWire! While it seems targeted at a younger audience, it's charming & enjoyable so far. Characters are relatable. There isn't much action yet, but its lead's charisma keeps things flowing. Interested to see what happens next!

  • Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Although Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has some pacing issues, it's a fun movie with action, suspense, and emotion. Elizabeth Olsen deserves an award for her amazing performance as the Scarlet Witch. Excited to see where they take these characters in the future.

  • Morbius

Morbius is a pretty bad movie. It has some fun moments but overall the stuff that had potential went nowhere.

Sony Pictures did NOT learn its lesson from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. This hodgepodge mess was thrown together for the sake of furthering a cinematic universe instead of telling a good story.

  • Moon Knight

    Moon Knight

Had a chance to watch Moon Knight Ep 1-4 for FandomWire! While I'm interested to see where it will go, it's unfortunately my least favorite Disney+ MCU show so far. Despite this, it has some interesting concepts, Ethan Hawke is great, & the action is decent.

  • The Batman

    The Batman

The Batman is a great detective story full of action, suspense, and of course, vengeance! Though it could have been trimmed down slightly, it earns its 3 hr runtime through quality writing and captivating performances. 🦇

  • Uncharted

Although some very weird and nonsensical choices were made, Uncharted is a pretty fun movie and I'm curious enough for the sequel.

  • Spider-Man: No Way Home

    Spider-Man: No Way Home

While there are definitely some very silly plot choices, overall, Spider-Man: No Way Home is a blast and a very fun time! It's filled with action, spectacle, emotion, and wonderful surprises. This movie really gets the Spider-Man character. Excited to see where they go from here!

  • Free Guy

    Free Guy

While Free Guy is very much a comedy, it actually has a pretty good story, is full of heart, and has some fun action. Ryan Reynolds plays a great lovable, innocent NPC. Usually in movies like this, the "human" side characters aren't interesting at all, but I actually liked them for the most part.

It'll be interesting to see what they do with the sequel.

  • Hawkeye

Watched the first 2 episodes of Hawkeye for FandomWire! Hailee Steinfeld and Jeremy Renner are great onscreen, although I could have used more Renner. Love the small-scale story... a corner of the MCU we rarely see. Some things were lacking but still a pretty fun time. 🏹
