Do you want to hear the craziest fact that you've heard all day today? (and no, I don't care what day you're reading this...I still stand by my qualifier.)
Who do you think is the most profitable actor since 1980? Tom Cruise? Robert Downey Jr.? Brad Pitt?
I'm being totally serious, right now.
See, for every single dollar that has gone to Emilio since 1980, he's generated $6.70.
Pitt earns $.10, Johnny Depp $.20, and Mel Gibson almost seems generous coming in at $3.50.
Not quite as surprising, is that the MOST profitable actor is female. It's a little harder to do the math, as women are usually less likely to be the top-billed actor in a movie, but the biggest work horse in Hollywood is Rose Byrne, bringing in a whopping $9.80 for every dollar paid (cheers or tears all around, depending on how you choose to think about it...).
But for my money, The Cowboy is the most compelling character in the entirety of cinematic history, if you go by total screen time....
