Wow, so this is really a thing. This movie got made, and now, these many years later, I'm sitting here watching it. People actually spent time and money putting this together. I can only assume massive quantities of cocaine were involved. And possibly hallucinogens.
A combination rock opera, Phantom of the Opera, Faust, and The Picture of Dorian Grey. And lot of drugs.
Paul Williams, of Paul Willisms Still Alive and Little Enos in Smokey and the Bandit wrote all the music. Brian DePalma directed. It's a heck of ride, campy as all get out, just, wow.
