This is probably the Japanese movie with the most humor that I've seen. A rather dark film in places, the humor isn't laugh out loud, but certainly there. For those who don't know, this is the earlier version of A Fistful of Dollars. A master-less samurai drifts into a town with two feuding families and plays them off against each other. Gambling is said to be the reason for the trouble. Our samurai thinks he knows what he is doing, but he overplays his hand and pays for it. A good show.
