Compelling!! Cast Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in more films, please!

Side Note: Funny how social commentaries then and now are still the same. Have we really made progress as a species? As a community? Have we learned nothing from history?

Jim Sturgess’ character was the most unlikeable character in a romcom (?) I’ve ever seen, but Anne Hathaway’s character just wanted to love him!!! Unconditionally!!!!! I’m!!!! Going ✈️ Hurt City

Glad this wasn't in chronological order, as it would have been boring if it were.

P.S. Cillian Murphy you attractive human being

This was not something I expected to watch during quarantine, but I wanted to watch this because of the star-studded cast. It’s hard to give a review without spoiling anything, but it is reminiscent of The Place Beyond The Pines — nothing too fast-paced. It may be filled with a lot of unfortunate events, but what the past means to you once you decide how to move forward to the future perhaps might just make you stronger.

    P.S. I love…

Essential quarantine flick. It’s when watching movies like this that I am glad that this pandemic isn’t a zombie apocalypse. Overcoming quarantine burnout is already so hard, imagine if you had a horde of zombies lurking outside your apartment.

South Koreans do Zombie flicks so well? I’m a huge fan of Kingdom and Train to Busan so this was such a treat. Watching Peninsula next!
