"People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back. So you can either hand over your son, or you can die screaming alongside him!"
What an awesome first rewatch. I figured that I'd lower the rating just a bit after I finally got to see this again, but nope. It's staying right where I originally had it. This is the most fun I've had with a straight-up action film in quite some time, and it thankfully holds up. I also can't remember the last time I seriously wanted to see a sequel to an action movie. I really shouldn't be this thrilled in seeing people die for a cause of vengeance, even in a movie; but it all just seems so well-earned in John Wick. Moral of the story: Don't be a piece of shit and fuck with a badass dude's precious pup, man.
Keanu's back, alright, and hopefully for good.
