Letterboxd — Your life in film

Spectacular.

This is one of those rare films that reaffirms your desire to outpace mediocrity at all costs. If you're—truthfully, not just for show or social aesthetics—an artist or creator of any type, this is a must-watch. It's very likely that you'll identify with Jeremiah and his unwavering constitution.

Everything about this was eerily wonderful. The titles were the cherry on top.

Seth Green in drag shouting "I'm not addicted to drugs, I'm addicted to glamour." Enough said.

Second watch. Holy cow, I forgot how great this was.

Kevin Bacon getting his stomach sliced open in a tribal ceremony. WHAT.

Visually compelling, narratively impossible. Fun to stare at but hard to keep up with where it was going.

CRITERION. Aykroyd chain smoking in a hotel room talking about aliens, enough said.

Great aesthetic but too goofy to finish.

This is a perfect fucking movie. The second in the series is just as good and the third isn't too far off.
