My main thoughts this time through were about how strikingly cinematic this is especially after lately when I’ve been fully diving into his more demanding works, how that in itself is incredibly fitting for the self-reflexive insanity that ensues, how this would make a great double bill with F For Fake, but most importantly of all: what ever happened to that *other* documentary being filmed at the exact same time?
