There’s no crying in baseball but there was some crying while watching this
Thank god Guy Ritchie is getting back to his “Snatch” ways. The first half was slightly boring but then after Farrell’s character came in it picked right up. The cast did a great job and the humor was on point. At first I wasn’t really into the whole “pitch meeting” type storytelling but after a while I got used to it and enjoyed it majority of the time. The opening credits were extremely cool IMO.
No clue why this gets hated on. I’m mad that it took me this long to watch since I listened to those people but I’d have to disagree as I really liked this. The VFX were breathtaking, the sound design was excellent, the performances were great with Claire Foy obviously standing out. This was so relaxing and soothing at times but it also had me on the edge of my seat even though I knew what was going to happen. Great watch! Chazelle hasn’t missed once.
