Rian Miller’s review published on Letterboxd:
Unlike Inglourious Basterds, which had to grow on me a bit, I loved Django Unchained immediately upon my first viewing. Similar to Death Proof, I don't have the same seemingly glaring issues with the film that some viewers do, and would in fact only excise one thing from the movie if given the chance: Jonah Hill's scene. The rest is magnificent. I enjoy the extended ending and, in this case, don't mind the runtime. The performances are largely outstanding and, for me, this is easily the best that Jamie Foxx has ever been. He's an okay actor, but Tarantino turned him into an excellent character.
