Ricardo Franco’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is one of the few 00's R rated comedies that I hadn't seen. It's very much what I expect, and to some degree love, from that era of comedy. Raunch, nonsense, poor direction, basic coverage, and extremely committed performances.
What makes Pick of Destiny stand out is this music. So many of the songs are incredible and they could only be performed by Jack Black. Some songs were unnecessary and felt like they were there because the musical structure called for them to be there. Also, have fart jokes ever been funny? To anyone?
Eh, I laughed, like I said, if you've seen one R rated comedy from the '00s, you've seen them all.
