“I love Led Zeppelin!”
One area where Far From Home really shines is in the way it handles teenage relationships. The awkwardness of MJ and Peter’s budding relationship is really endearing, and a major theme of the film is Peter trying to balance being a superhero with just being a teenager who wants to enjoy his vacation and express his feelings for MJ. Then there’s Betty and Ned, who really nail the overly mushy teenage couple and provide good comedic relief.
There’s not much else to say. There’s some interesting storytelling choices, and the usual Marvel action and humor is present. That’s not necessarily a knock either, and it’s nice to see a bit more visual flair this time around, as I felt that was something Homecoming lacked.
