Eric Trapp’s review published on Letterboxd:
It was a pleasure to catch a special screening of this in 35mm at the Music Box Theatre in Chicago!
This movie is an absolute thrill ride. Fantastic performances, really hard hitting and dark comedy, and that confident and weird David Lynch filmmaking that we’ve all come to love. And to think this was salvaged and made into a feature film from a failed TV pilot! A really great time at the movies and gives a lot think abiut after. It was honestly a lot to take in on my first watch, but I hear that it benefits from repeat viewings! I eagerly anticipate watching it again!
