  I have a soft spot for Simon Barrett and everything he has done in collaboration with Adam Wingard, and I believe that somewhere in here there is an interesting movie to be made judging from the manuscript. Sadly as a whole the execution just comes of as bland and Seance seems tonally uninterested in existing as a movie. Better luck next time!
