Super expensive Chinese romcom with a super crappy script. They must have paid millions to get the location and cast that they did. It's too bad the script is super cheesy, and the acting doesn't feel at all genuine to the actual story.
Also, the ending does not make sense. If Rhydian Vaughan's character is actually gay - his little scene of him acting "gay" was incredibly offensive, by the way - then why the ending? How is he "still there" for Shu Qi, when he's apparently gay?! Doesn't make any sense.
Oh, and also x 2, Victoria Song's character is fucking annoying. Chinese romcoms need to stop writing these stupid ditzy girls into movies. They're terrible role models.
