Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace 1999
Still too bizarrely paced and lethargic for me to fully get into but so much genuine visual imagination and nonetheless endlessly interesting to see Lucas almost single-handedly form the entire production model for blockbusters today, and yet an entire generation has forgotten that this kind of tech was once a means to convey entirely new and expressive worlds and not downtown Manhattan.
