Three Thousand Years of Longing 2022
At times loved Millers approach to this as a series of bedtime stories thrilled me with its sense of distant melancholy whereas at other points I found it’s overall structure too jarring to ever really fall fully in love with this. Wish we spent more time with Swinton as a lead (she’s sadly under-utilised here) but any time it reverts back to ultra-digital hyper-reality if it’s flashbacks I was back on board.
