There was not a single second of this movie that I did not absolutely lose my mind enjoying but when they dropped Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan into a full-on Wong Kar-Wai homage I fully ascended into orbit
A transcendent, beautifully-realized symposium on the human condition distilled through Chuck Jones and Jackie Chan
To quote a particular cast member of this film in another iconic role of his: “It’s a cosmic gumbo.”
