so I know this movie is really bad, but I've taken on a new habit: watching old movies (that are free & on YouTube) in the background while I'm doing some stuff. I watched this over the course of a week, and now I can say I've watched it. I feel this way about a LOT of movies from my childhood, so I am happy with this decision.
So anyway, the movie is pretty bad. However, I was actually engaged near the end -- I did not know whether they would kill them both or not? otherwise the movie is weird and ....fantastic... as in fantasy-like... in a way that happened a LOT in the late 90s and early 00s. just... foreign, yknow. very foreign to real life.
either way, it flopped at the box office, as did I.
