    Outdated even for it’s own time. 

    Obnoxious, boring. Pretty colors though. Some visual gags got a chuckle. Rock Hudson was the only thing keeping me going.

    An immersive and naturalistic treat. I'm in a place right now where I haven't kept up with a lot of contemporary cinema, especially globally, so if I sound emphatic about seemingly obvious things, that's probably why. This film inspired me to be more connected to modern and global cinema culture.

    Garbage. Terrible camera work. There wasn’t one solid frame in that movie, just floating handheld. Hardly any wide shots, just half assed inserts and coverage. They left nothing to anticipate.     I was really intrigued by the first act. Performances felt fresh and the surreal stylishness of it was goofy and fun. But by the second act you can tell the movie had nowhere to go and the third act plotwist was wholly dissatisfying.
