Luther: The Fallen Sun 2023
Loads of great Luther elements are in here but as a complete piece it felt a bit rushed and has some rough edges. Very high quality production as you’d expect and it’s lovely to see Elba reprise the role.
I really could not get over Serkis’s wig either, it just looked wrong the whole time.

Bank of Dave 2023
A solid 3 star film. Don’t expect too much, it’s a fun watch and not too serious. Some flagrant abuse of what a “northern” accent is, some good Lancaster accents in there but a few too many Yorkshire. Once you’re past that it does what is says on the tin with some nice hearty moments.
