Onward felt really short even with the already small run time. But the big issue I had was with the fathers legs. They make it so that you are trying to feel for this character but it is hard to feel for a pair of legs even when it’s someone significant. Of course at the end we are supposed to realize that it is the relationship between the brothers that is most significant. But I feel like at the end of the day a lot of people are gonna have a hard time seeing that as the conclusion that was necessary; because of how much time was spent resurrecting the father.
