Robert Franco’s review published on Letterboxd:
nathan called this the “cinematic equivalent of the 7pm clapping” and he’s not wrong. there is a self serving element to this. however, i do find this to be more of a genuine approach than “celebrities singing imagine” or whatever other masturbatory bullshit celebrity content that has come out of this pandemic. and there’s something interesting about seeing all of these typically crowded spaces totally empty (the empty swing set with the single seat swinging is a powerful image that comes to mind). if nothing else, some good dissolves.
i like jr's version better though: twitter.com/JuanRoelMolina/status/1259209009543942146?s=20
