Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets 2017
Even if it steals from every single sci-fi franchise since the 60s, even if choosing 'Space Oddity' as the opening score is the cheapest shot this whole movie pulls - the opening sequence is absolutely magnificient.
Everything happening after Bowie played his final note is an absolutely cringeworthy, incoherent, pathetic mess and makes this film unbearable, only worsened by the performances of the two leads.
