    You want to know why Gaspar Noe films work when they do (yes the argument could be made about late, but ignore that for my analogy)?? It’s because he has substance amidst his shock… 
    That’s not to say this doesn’t have events that are good, frankly it’s a mix match of sequences that are sheer brilliant side by side with sequences that are so rough and underdeveloped it washes away the credibility of the Palm d’Or itself.

    There’s a moment in the car at the beginning that I knew Celine was trying to show off that she’s one of the best in the game right now, it’s too bad the rest of the film didn’t quite live up to that one sequence. That being said though, it’s absolutely brilliant performances in a medium-slow burn that pulls it all off in 70 min. That deserves mad credit right there. 
    Be interested to see if this emerges as the Oscar international front runner.
