I like Looper. It's got its problems, but it is sufficient.
Looper is an efficient film. No part of the pig goes to waste in what it sets up and executes on & it is free of swerves that can come so-easily to an over-enthusiastic writer keen to expand your brain. Concepts and characters are never quite gone, but are shuffled out of sight until they are re-dealt in a new context.
