"So, you don't remember anything we talked about last night, huh?"

I went into this expecting it to be more of a comedy and was pleasantly surprised that this was not the case. Instead it's much more of a commentary on a part of today's society.

The story centres around Gloria who, after moving back to her home town after, starts to discover that she is connected to monster attacks in South Korea

The performances are great all around. Anne…

"There's no hiding from this, son."

Incredible. Such a tense and nerve-wrecking experience. The film starts pretty much straight with a group of soldiers making their way to the beach when they are ambushed by the enemy. From there, it's a nonstop tension filled 100 minutes as we watch the soldiers try to evacuate from Dunkirk. Once it was over, I felt like I had taken my first breath since the film began.

    "Logan, you still have time."

I can think of only one word to describe this film: brutal. Emotionally, physically and just brutal. Wolverine is a difficult character to portray and Hugh Jackman has perfected his portrayal over the last 15 years. But in Logan, we see almost a new take from Jackman. The R rating certainly loosened the reigns but they seem to have been able to take away from the comfort zone that they've been in.

    As I said,…

What a hell of a lot of fun that was!

I watched this tonight at a screening at the Showroom cinema in Sheffield with a Q and A with Ben Wheatley after. Wheatley was a lot of fun and very gracious with his time and the questions asked of him. Generally just made me a bigger fan of his. Plus I got a pretty awesome t-shirt out of it.

As for the film, as I already said, lots of fun.…
