The worst thing that I can say about Birdman is that once you realize within the first couple of minutes that the whole film is essentially one long take, it almost becomes distracting by how impressive it is. Yes, Birdman is great. The acting is spotless. The direction is impeccable. The editing is seamless. The writing is topnotch. So I guess the only thing holding me back from a "perfect" rating is that I just don't ever see myself revisiting Birdman, but maybe that'll change overtime.
