Rock Hyrax’s review published on Letterboxd:
Children's television for adults from Swiss video/artist Pipilotti Rist, an anarchic hypersensory experience wherein our heroine and associates fight the cops, touch strangers, swim through public fountain portals, sip menstrual blood from a goblet, and spout wisdoms like "closed relationships are for cowards!" At first, despite knowing what Rist's artworks look like, I was thinking that shooting on film would have offered more tactile satisfaction, but this really leans into the digital textures to the point of artificiality. Simultaneously maddening and charming at most points, and entirely a Marginal Fairy Story for (very) Pseudo (ie definitely not)-Children. For the three of you who will relate to this, it's kinda the feature adaptation of that one scene in one of the Denton Welch books where he licks the doorknob.
