Craig Norrie’s review published on Letterboxd:
With a message of anti-bullying that I've somehow seen people complain about (WTF?) MA is the meaningful horror movie that Us and Get Out try so hard to be; without hammering you over the head like those two do to boot. Octavia Spencer is great, she plays both sides of "Ma" so well, we all know someone like this (albiet less crazy) or have done what these kids do, so the story is relateable. The rest of the cast do a good job and its directed really well so I look forward to seing what this director does next.
