    Love and Death

    Some really, really great gags, and some that just kinda weirded me out. Par for the course with Allen, even at his best. Still, I'm a big fan of the mode of Allen's, even if any level of sincerity struggles to mesh with the absurdity as well as it does in later films. And Keaton is great. And I love all the philosophy humor. Weird Persona riff at the end, too.

    For a film plagued with so many issues in its development, and for a Marvel film, and just as a film in general, Ant-Man defied every expectation I could've had, and came out alive as a vibrant, ingenious, and hilarious movie with a good heart.
