“How do you know he’s a king?“

“He hasn’t got shit all over him.”

Can’t overstate the effect this movie has had on my sense of humor throughout my life. Even as my tastes change, this remains a constant source of laughter for me. We even named my childhood dog Zoot :)

  • Ocean's Thirteen

    Ocean's Thirteen

The same charisma and style as the first one but with +1 Al Pacino. Morally I cannot give this anything less than 5 stars.

  • David Byrne's American Utopia

    David Byrne's American Utopia

  • The Thing

Wilford Brimley Freakout Compilation 2 Hours

  • Blade Runner 2049

    Blade Runner 2049

man i wish girls were real

It's usually hard for me to keep my attention on a movie this long but this one did it for me. Beautifully designed, callbacks to the original but not in a cheesy way, really creative dichotomy between the cold digital world and the warm humanity (or... Replicanity?) within it. The original felt like an unfinished story, whether purposeful or not, but this one feels complete.

  • The Lighthouse

    The Lighthouse

A heartwarming family comedy about an uncle and nephew who get more than they bargained for on a not-so-relaxing beach vacation.

  • Stop Making Sense

    Stop Making Sense

this show seemed like it was fun for everyone involved and that made me happy. forever in awe of DB’s stage presence and magnetism. David Byrne Big Suit David Byrne Big Suit

  • Suspiria

there’s no way for me to rate this under a 5. lighting is gorgeous, soundtrack is gorgeous, jessica harper is gorgeous, overwhelmingly female cast is gorgeous,

this somehow feels like a recurring nightmare even though you’re watching it for the first time
