One of the best movies ever made if I’m honest !

Crazy charming. So so good. Alana Haim please call me. This is my first Paul Thomas Anderson movie (I know, I know) and definitely won’t be the last. The Wings needledrop had me grinning in my seat. Not excited for the discourse that will spring forth from this movie (although I get it) but I am excited to see more from PTA.

Literal banger every time. Keanu is perfect casting because he can go from Dopey White Boy to Dope White Boy with a simple glasses and trench coat situation. I think he is not fully white IIRC but anyone can be a Dope White Boy if they believe that they are. That’s what The Matrix is all about.

Made my roommates watch this with me 😈 I have seen this movie probably about a dozen times and it still makes me laugh and smile every time. This is one of Jimmy Stewart’s best roles in my humble onion! IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE levels of heartwarming with THE PHILADELPHIA STORY levels of quick wit. Just great.

Impeccable soundtrack, great cameos, and Muppets. What more do you need?

I prefer to look at Lynch stuff without saying “I don’t get it” or trying to look for some clear answer that I may have missed the first time. It’s Lynch; there is no Answer™️. It makes sense that it doesn’t make sense. What it IS is a gorgeous haunting piece of work that unsettles you and draws you in at the same time. And there are some little guys running around.
