Exposition is rarely as fun as it is in Martin Scorsese films. He can make time fly while having the film being 70% exposition but it never feels like I'm being told too much. The part where Sam and Nicky explain how the casino works is so great, it is loaded full with exposition but it serves a purpose.

Sharon Stone's and Joe Pesci's characters are annoying at certain points in the film but I think that makes the movie even better.

Movies about artmaking have always managed to surprise me in a good way. Birdman, Day for Night, Living In Oblivion, and La La Land are just a few examples of great movies about artmaking and The Red Shoes just joined them on my shortlist of movies about artmaking. It's beautiful, encaptivating and manages to make me forget about the existense of time while watching it.

Even though this is a prequel to the anime it should be watched after seeing a few episodes because this movie tried to explain how this world works but the limited runtime can make it can feel confusing.

Most of the important things are explained better in the first 5 episodes, also being familiar with the characters in the show makes this film a better experience.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

A musical set in a highschool that has a Grease like feeling in it's songs, with the crazy, campy, surrealistic comedy and horniness that made me love Rocky Horror. Of course I loved this, I saw it going in blind and it was a blast watching this. The musical numbers in the jail are so fun, I guess this is the second musical I have seen where the best parts of the musical are the ones in the Jail. The other one is "Cell Block Tango" from Chicago.

This movie truly is one of the worst made films I have ever seen. I don't have many bad films logged but I have seen my fair share of shit films I just didn't log them. When watching this movie I was crying with laughter and barely able to speak because I was laughing so hard at how bad this film is. Me laughing this much at a movie that is supposed to be a drama, action. This film clearly…

Can't believe that Godard summoned an ancient demon just to narrate this film.
