Wonder Woman: So, you're a woman.
Thief Catcher: So you're a bitch.

This film presents a bit of a bizarre story and atmosphere. It has a "comic book" feel to it without overdoing, so it doesn't come off as cheesy. Overall, a unique and entertaining experience that's centered on the three beautiful and famous actresses from Hong Kong at that time.

This is the 2nd film I've seen within the past two weeks…

Hahaha... that's the ninja chewing gum bullet!

There's a dream sequence where the camera chases the female protagonist running directly away from the camera angle and tears through paper wall after paper wall, each one revealing primary and secondary colors. It's a very striking and appealing imagery that will probably stay with me for a long while.

This is a fun movie; simple plot that serves the fine display of pop art. My first film by Hasebe and looking forward to seeing more of his works.

Talk about children. You miss them when they're not around. If they are around, they gradually treat their parents as a nuisance. A real dilemma.

David Desser, editor of Ozu’s “Tokyo Story," mentioned something of Ozu that I wholeheartedly agree with:

I want to make the case that all of Ozu's films are about the inevitability of change. He shows this by the most basic human way: By constantly focusing on the family.

    How we…
