Romario De la Rosa’s review published on Letterboxd:
Kiki’s Delivery Service is probably one of the simplest stories in Studio Ghibli catalog, but at the same time one the purest.
This movie reflect in a beautiful and subtle way how it feels to be new in a big city and don't fit in. Also the rough transition of leaving home, and go from a simpler and smaller place to a big city.
Kiki is and incredible lead, a girl who is really kind and selfless, but at the same time really insecure and doubtful of herself, characteristics that make a really interesting and rootable character.
The animation is splendid one of the most beautiful one's i ever seen, the animations of when Kiki is flying in her broom are just breathtaking.
