Yes, those Pixar geniuses have done it again.
The feels hit once "You've Got A Friend In Me" started playing and the emotional rollercoaster didn't stop its twists and turns all the way to the very end. I'm genuinely astonished at the way this franchise has been handled. With such care, deliberation and simply heart and soul.
I can't believe that 10 year old me first met these characters way back in 1995 and they're still here 24 years later. Their story hasn't been cheapened, annualized or attuned to some passing trends. It all feels made because it should be made. Because it's the right thing for it to exist this way for human beings of all ages to experience.
Bravo to the creators and I do hope to see these characters again. Not soon or someday, but when the time is right once more.
