Roman Arbisi’s review published on Letterboxd:
Barely passes as a satire and desperately needs a better film-maker to tell this story. One of the least challenging movies of the year and one that “both sides” it for some annoying reason. Thomasin McKenzie and Roman Davis are excellent and almost make this repetitive chore enjoyable. Has a few moments of humor that got me, but the dramatic stuff was much stronger and more enjoyable than any of the humor. Taika is overrated.
Painfully black and white, and the potential Green Book of 2019. At least for me...yuck.
