Drew Rosensweig’s review published on Letterboxd:
Sure, it seems destined to become earmarked as a favorite for people who rarely (and may still not be motivated) to fuck with foreign films, but it's hard to deny the charm and the craft. Reviewing this first viewing months later, I'm still impressed at the roaring applause heard when Ki-taek picks up the bloody tissue from the trash, revealing the family's plan coming to beautiful fruition. The crowd was eating out of the movie's hand only 45 minutes into the film, and we hadn't even reached the major twist!
(Of course, everyone in the crowd at the Arclight probably missed the point.)
