Lady Bird

Lady Bird ★★★★★

"What if it's the best version?"

It's hard to be a teenager. It's a phase where you have to build your personality. You start thinking that you have the right in the world. You were giving things but it's not enough. You begin to deal with other people's problems and yours. You experience for the first time the fear of failure and rejection. And, especially, you have to achieve your goals and how you'll do it.

Greta Gerwig is the right person who can show us that, and I'm glad that finally someone as her has done something like this. It's very honest, with heavy emotions and a narrative that holds strong. Saoirse Ronan has possibly given one of her best perfomances so far and hope she gets recognition on this. I couldn't stop smiling and crying at the same time, this film was everything I needed and more. I finished school this year and probably going to college, so I see myself through this. Growing up is a dangerous thing, but with a great support and keeping strong, everything will go more or less well.
